I wanted to share a positive message because the news is so stressful and constantly wants to put us in fear. It is important to see the positive in every situation. Even though it might be extremely difficult to do so now.
The Coronavirus has had a great effect on the economy, but more importantly it has had the greatest effect on us as individuals.
Suddenly the price of gasoline went down, pollution went down, people now have “more time” and in fact we have so much time that many do not know what to do with it, and parents are now spending time with their kids as a family. Work is no longer the top priority, traveling has been put on the back burner, and peoples main focus is not just what they post on social media anymore.
Suddenly we are looking within ourselves and understanding the value of the words “solidarity”, “love”, “strength”, “empathy” and “faith”.
In an instant we realized that we are all in the same boat; rich and poor. That the supermarket shelves are empty and the hospitals are full.
New cars and old cars stand in the garages, simply because nobody can get out.
There are empty streets, less pollution, clean air, and the land also breathes.
It took a global pandemic to start the healing process of so many things have been put on the back burner for way too long.
We as human beings are returning to our origins, realizing that with or without money, the important thing is to survive and thrive.
It only took a couple days for the universe to establish the social equality that was said to be impossible.
Fear invaded everywhere and everyone. At least this happened to realize the vulnerability of the human being.
Nature is forcing us to clean up the mess made by ourselves.
Focus has finally shifted from things that are praised above all others:
What the coronavirus is teaching us:
Our best refuge is our Home. Our Best Company is our Family. Our Real time is the Present Moment. Nature needs us to take a step back to help heal the planet.
We do not have the power to control everything and we are all part of a whole, fragile, brittle and vulnerable world.
Take a moment today to Stop, breathe, respect this time you have for yourself.
Go back to the basics, take some time to journal, meditate and think about your life. Take some to think about your passions and focus on what fuels you as an individual.
The World is giving you a chance to hit the Reset Button. This may never happen again and you should embrace and welcome the change. I wish everyone the best during these uncertain times!
Please share one positive affect the quarantine has had on your life below!
